Bonnie

Brodner brings team focus to service

We support Bonnie Brodner for re-election to the Lexington School Committee on March 3rd. Bonnie brings a sophisticated understanding of the collaborative nature of this job: as an instrumental member of the Committee, she has had an influential role in all aspects. While individual accomplishments and experience prepare a candidate for this job, learning and listening are required. Bonnie has not used her position as a platform for personal agendas and touting one’s own horn.

Bonnie consistently brings a valuable asset to the table: framing the issues before the committee using an inquiry-based analytic process grounded in fact and reason, not emotion and personal preference.

Bonnie is the newest member elected to the School Committee for her first term 3 years ago. She brings much-needed professionalism, advocacy and thoughtfulness to the Committee.

For us, the key consideration is: does this candidate have the necessary leadership, collaborative and analytic skills? Does the candidate have a proven track record of respectful, productive and successful negotiations with the Superintendent, other School Committee members and diverse constituents?

Bonnie Brodner is the clear choice for re-election. We need her presence to continue to advocate on behalf of our entire community.
