Brodner did a good job in first term

I hope you will join me in supporting Bonnie Brodner’s re-election to the School Committee. Bonnie has done an outstanding job in her first term on the Committee, and she has the skills we need to bring our community together in support of excellent schools that serve all of our children.

I have had the opportunity to work closely with Bonnie in a variety of settings, from town meeting to our shared work on progressive political causes. In each instance, I’ve been impressed by Bonnie’s thoughtfulness, her engaged listening, and her advocacy and leadership skills.

Perhaps more important than anything else is Bonnie’s profound commitment to inclusiveness -- to making sure that our schools and our town are a welcoming and supportive place for everyone who comes in contact with them. This commitment grows out of Bonnie’s core values, and it is reflected in all of the work that she does.

We are incredibly fortunate to have someone with Bonnie’s intelligence, commitment, abilities and values helping to guide our school system.

Please join me in supporting her for another term on the School Committee.
